Dakota County Technical College is very close to the Twin Cities in Rosemount, MN. It is just south of 494 on highway 52 until just past the big refinery (we call it the year 2000 city). Then go right (west) on county road 42. Keep going for 2-3 miles and you will see DCTC on your left. Take the "DCTC Driving Course" entrance. (If you see the college, the driving course is
on the far left/southeast side of the property as you first pull in).
PLEASE don’t drive/ride anywhere near fast or rowdy as you approach or are leaving the course. One of the concerns about us being able to ride here was from the neighbors who didn’t like people racing through their neighborhood. If you love to ride and learn at Dakota Tech, please ride super slow and courteously on any roads around the area and be friendly to people you encounter. If they think we’re good people to have around, they won’t complain about us having some fun in their backyard, which would be great. If they do complain we could get kicked out, which would suck. So we have nothing to gain by being noisy and rowdy in the surrounding area of the course, and lots to lose. Please be mellow.
There are limited facilities at the course; no running water, and port-a-potties for
rest rooms.
